Black Youth Achievements

Now in its 9th year, the BYA Awards is still the only national awards ceremony celebrating the achievements and contributions of black and mixed heritage youth in the UK and has built a fantastic reputation over this period honouring 400+ people to date for their personal attainments and wider contributions to society.

The Black Youth Achievement Awards (BYA Awards) recognises, rewards and promotes the positive actions and accomplishments of young black and mixed heritage individuals throughout the United Kingdom.

'SOS - Stories of Success' produced in partnership with UCL (University College London) and Leading Routes is available to see online and also hard copy.

Geared towards an audience of young people, parents, schools and communities the magazine aims to inspire and create an awareness around the various routes of progression that are available in education, employment and enterprise along with providing information and guidance on numerous topics such as finance, technology, health & well-being, relationships, personal development and more.

The primary focus of the magazine are our ‘Stories of Success’: these are featured interviews with some of the previous BYA Award winners as well as other young achievers. Additionally, there will be a directory of services and products that can be referred to when seeking advice and support.
